If I don't rest 2 days in a row, then I have a hard time working the rest of the week.

Thank you for the flowers! They are the loveliest of colors. And I agree with you, Saturday or Sunday makes no matter...it's splitting hairs. As long as there is that break every six days or so, I think we're okay.

That sounds like a smart approach!

kabu

G I believe that argument comes from whether the line that say He rested on the seventh was superseded by the one that tells us of the tithing on the first day of the week love. BC-A, Bill’s RJLst

Rested
Well Kabu I always seem to reach your site a day later, it must be the time difference. So I take it that you have now rested. I hope that you both feel raring to go again, but take it steady have you ever seen a tired gnome.

Resting is only really fun if one has done some kind of work to earn it.
Otherwize....it's just the boring usual.

I like the idea of work one day, rest one day, too, when able to...
I think the fact our Lord rested is an example we should all follow if possible...no one is doing themselves any good working seven days a week.....

work one, rest one sounds great to me
so many of us don't listen when our bodies cry for rest, I am glad you do

Thanks for your comment,  I do love the internet and blogging but yes some interesting characters appear.  Maybe this was a line but what on earth would the writer expect to achieve.  It certainly bought out something in me and on a positive note I think it was honesty about how i really felt.  Maybe the guy was sent with a message, anyhow he was easily dealt with by a delete button.  have a great day.

Seventh day he rested
This true that it has been a controversy on which day was the day of rest Saturday or Sunday. What matters that we love and belove in him with all our hearts/LB

Rest can do a mind, body and soul a lot of good. We should all take advantage of a day or two of rest provided we can afford the luxury.

How sweet to be still and reflect on your labors, and what has
been made. I just loved this one, it settled tranquility all over me.

Kabuiepie-;)
Neat how we both knew enough to take this day off and just make it a real 'Sabbath', rest. Strange how my blood pressure had climbed and you discerned that so quickly. The photo is beautiful as your flowers and yourself darlin'.
