Interesting post.  The story of Pinocchio has always been fascinating to every child (and every adult who was ever a child).   All who read it know that they have lied at one time or another and that lies will continue to sneak from their mouths for as long as they live (whether they admit it or not) because they are human.  Many of us try hard not to lie.  Some feel guilty about it.  Some feel they have good reason to lie.  Some have become so impervious to the fact that they do it that they don't believe they do.  The saying "It's as plain as the nose on your face," is only for "others" you know.  We are pretty much blind to our own faults.
