When stared at by kids, I used to stick my tongue out and make the
worst faces you can imagine.  It stopped most stranger kids from staring. LOL

kids can be so cruel especially nowadays...I work in a pre school I see a lot.....I also have two children of my own...amazing what they learn for you but more amazingly what you learn from them hehe

Darson this is quite interesting, A stare can feel solid somehow and eyes can beam messages, but we have lost a lot of those instincts I suppose because of the volume we encounter. In this writing one can emphasize with the little girl which is really good

This write-up was thoroughly enjoyable and what a flow in your writing! The use of "peppered", for example, among others, was a learning for me. The value of your writing is in the exquisite conversational style which I so like and learn, too. Very, very well done.

School can be so rough on kids! I remmeber those days with cooties and teasing so clearly. I am looking forward to reading about the other ways with which you learned to fight.
