I concur and leave you with this little piece of knowledge. All it took for a friend of mine in Ohio to get a license to foster was to go to classes for a few hours and pass a background check. I don't know what more you'd want but I agree with you that there is too much of people abusing foster kids so maybe those in charge of the kids should make sure the foster parents are fit. And amen to the spanking. Some kids need it some don't. I got spanked once as a kid because it was worse for me to get put in the corner silently then anything else. It's knowing your kids and discipline is key.
