Lovely photos of a lovely visit with friends. It is fun to live life
through friends' eyes.
I am fascinated with the idea of sewing closed a parcel !!! What a really good idea. I don't know that it would be allowed in America. They allow only certain tapes to be used and certain labels and not much else. Sewing would probably be rejected, though it is a fabulously practical and secure idea.
The food and the peacock and all were too sweet.
My good friend here in Tucson has a white peacock, well more than one now, on her little ranch. It, the original, likes to perch up high and scream warnings when cars drive up. She calls it her door bell.
Thanks for taking us around town and showing us how to use the post office in your lovely area.

I don't think I have ever taken pictures inside of a post office before.
