5  Cool, but for myself I find no challenge to the Bible in it. I believe that God made the chemicals and everything. It’s not really any new occurrence. A scientist can mix all kind of things. They’re not doing the same thing as God. Here’s a link that works for me friend. Thank you for the chat. But we have other interests. Implied to myself still waters run deep.

Seems to me that there is something better than that to do with one's time, energy, money, education and creativity.

God or no God, I'm not sure that this is something people should
be messing around with.  Something really dangerous could be created and likely already has been.

I myself have never been much for the Creation vs. Evolution debate. For me, it does not do much for the zillions of other stories in the Bible.

Re: Evolution

THis was good to read.  My view on religion v evolution is that the two theories should not be seperate at all as they go so beautifully together.

Thats why I believe that;  'Evolution is God's method of Creation'.  To me this seems the most logical and right explanation of it all.

ps.  Thankyou for your inspiring comments on my post.

I do believe in wi fi so here I am from the wonderful Gulf of Mexico. Given it took man from whatever source this long to create other life forms if he ever was or would be able is such a far cry from a supposition point being that he has so much vanity, he is so dumb and so incredibly arrogant for the vast majority, if it were not for God he couldn't walk upright. I will stick with all bets off on any possible scientific improvement over God work. Man should be more concerned with improving on his abilities in a positive and pleasant manner before he expects to create any living thing.

Modern
I suppose every age believes itself to be the modern one. I suppose ultimately there is no such thing. People accept most things given time. More the pity sometimes.

There's a Biblical quote somewhere...
I'll have to see if I can find it, that implies that a billion years is to God as "the twinkling of an eye".  In other words, time as mankind defines it has no meaning to God.  The physical constructs of the mind of man stand for nothing when we are blind to the hand that shaped those minds in the first place.  In fact, it is our responsibility in having chosen a human life to sort these truths out and benefit each other based on them.

Or as Anna said, from the book Anna and the King of Siam, "Whether it took it took many centuries or six days, it's still the same miracle."

I think we are beginning to walk down a path that we should stay off of.
