The hawk, and at night the coyotes - that's why Bubbles is strictly an indoor cat! And Jag? He would eat the hawk...

'Uneasy' harmony is a well-put statement, my dearest friend! Yes, I would bet on you vs. the hawk anyday...a mother's love is unstoppable. A true 'momma' will fight to the death for her loved ones.

If you can, tell that hawk to pay a visit to Mundane,
there's an over-abundance of pesky squirrels hanging around this neck of the woods. They've dug up my flower boxes half a dozen times, turning out the begonias in their search for buried treats. I finally added a layer of rock to the soil -- they don't like to dig in rocks, but I catch them, early every morning, up on the porch. I know it's mean, but it's them or me at this point.

Yes, we can all live in harmony with each other, and nature. Thanks for your visit.

Moment
It doesn't matter what it is there is always something ready to take it, perhaps you will get lucky if there is an eagle around. I expect that hawk will get tired of watching Mr Graysome but I wouldn't bet on it. It sounds very cunning.
