I went to a series of lectures in Sydney awhile ago
on the trauma these people suffer and what some people are doing about help.Actually this was more on rape victims how they are turned away from society and what is being done to helpthem...little girls so often, how they are taught to care for the baby and given some survival and trade skills. Hopelessly sad yet so few care. Your Granddaughter will never be the same after this.

Your granddaughter will never be the same again.
She is a good writer like her grandma.  You must be very proud of her.

I have known of the suffering in Africa, its even more than you describe
and I am so glad when something is done to help. I do as much as I can, but now I fear that the terror is on its way to us here in the united states. I wish everyone would wake up and see it before it is too late.

This is very, very intersting, Pat.
Amy sounds like an intelligent and intriguing person, with a great heart.
