Your own little world saved you from being beaten into mental illness
this sort of abuse and from your sister as well well the parents must have encouraged her...but why...or was she being abused some other way and he nasty ways with you were her way of coping.

I think the mind strives to protect. Here was an escape route, not ideal, but probably necessary, sadly some with less imagination would not make it.
