I know about silences and don't like them anyway, sorry. Didn't mean to bug

Yes, cold water on cold days and hot water on hot days and stale bread and home sweet home.

We, my family,  would walk around the USA each time that we returned and marvel at the TOO MUCH STUFF everywhere. We watched bored Americans who seemed blind to all that was in front of them. They didn't know. We pointed and gawked and looked like out of towners, I'm sure.

We would hug chocolate and know that it was fresh and sugared to our taste buds. Toilet paper, simple things, made us stand open mouthed, unable to decide between brands.

Silly how the very smallest of things become huge when they reappear after having been gone a good while.

Like you, a brand new  (brand knew) and mostly unknown friend on Blogit, but huge when you returned and made me smile, big time.

Savour your stale bread as I did my stale potato chips in my past. Some things are good, no matter what.
