They sound like Susan's uncles
and she didn't relate to them that much: they were all rogues from Liverpool

Kabu, did you know that babies with loud cries have beautiful voices when they grow up? They make great singers...you are into music too from what I have read. Thanks so much for your lovely visit.

Uncles
I think Alf should go through the Pearlies, he didn't do anyone any harm, well perhaps sold a bit of duff corn at times. I bet your Aunts will be fun.

When you write "Alf" I keep thinking of that character
from the sitcom of some years back, the little alien called Alf who lived with a family and hid from the world, and had to be restrained from eating the family cat. It was one way for the producers to make a lot of cultural jokes from the viewpoint of a confused newcomer.

What a grief these uncles must have been to your family, Grandmummy.  I hope your aunts were a bit kinder of heart?  I do love your stories...but you even more so.

Colorful writing
I'm enjoying your family introductions; especially the wonderful colorful words of description.

VEry interesting Kabu.  I hope you are recording all these for I am sure your children and grandchildren will want to have this record of their family history.  I wish my Mom would have thought of doing something like that.  Now she is gone and with her all her memories.  You are so talented that when you write about them they become alive in my imagination.  Great work!  xoxoxo

I've enjoyed reading about your family, your uncles especially.  I can't wait to meet the other half of the family.
