Sometimes nature will force us to have to get to the tasks that need to be done. Sounds like this time it just had to be Sammy.

I envy people who have a garden. Me, I don't even have a flower pot. With so much travel the poor thing would just die and dead flowers and plants just make me so sad. On the other hand, I dislike artificial plants, so the odd bunch of fresh flowers will have to do for me.

Doesn't it feel good to get back out in the garden after a long winter?
I planted flowers yesterday, too...The BL was planting weeds.

I think I'll run by the garden shops today, see if I can find some
hardy things to plant. Got a hanging basket just waiting for blooms.

Spring
I am not going to wake you up Kabu, But when you do, I tell you we have nice days and possible ground frosts. I have known one on the first of June. April is a cruel Month but I think that's to do with something else.

Oh it is wonderful to work in the garden. I did that all day. I have three new gardenias to plant and three new rosemary plants that I rooted over the winder. They are wonderful. I can just see you and the chippy playing. I don't like them because they eat up too much even holes in the house. Cute yes, stinkers for the work and expense they cause a problem. But yours are pets.
Have a wonderful Easter knowing Jesus lives.

Sounds wonderful Kabu... nothing like good garden work to give satisfaction. HEre in Miami Beach we are spoiled... Spring comes along and everything flowers... there are no damaged trees or plants because we do not get frost so everything is as it was ... perhaps just more lucious and bigger but still there. I specially like my gardenia bushes... They are packed with gorgeous huge blooms. It is such a gift to open my window and smell that sweet fragrance... They are by far my favorite flowers besides the Orange blosoms which are my most favorite ones :-) You have not smelled heaven until you smell one of them. Be well my happy gardener and kiss Mr. Fixerupper for me, respectfully and on the forehead OK? loll xoxoxoxo
