Thanks for reminding me majroj.  The only snag is that chainsaw and fire would be frowned upon by conservationists.  I was thinking of just putting it to the curb with a large ''GIVE ME A GOOD HOME - SOB!" sign.

majroj reminded me of the only answer to Dutch Elm disease.  My computer has already started whimpering in fear.

Pat!!  I'm going to be shuddering at that mental picture when I see him on Tuesday - the mind boggles.

Just for the heck of it I might try it as well.  It reads like fun, but there might be a fly trick where the baddy could plant a button to incriminate the hero.

So, if it wasn't flu, was it maybe one of those bad

reactions from the little blue pills?  A construction lasting more than 4 hours or something to that effect.

Johnny Mac, did you hear about the contest on NPR called 3-minute fiction? One needs to write a story that can be read on air in 3 minutes (600 words max). In case you're interested it's at NPR.com/threeminutefiction if you want to get the rules... This next one requires you to use these words:

plant   button   trick   fly

they can be used as nouns, adjectives or verbs (any tense) I'm thinking of trying just for the heckuvit.
