Seems to me the facade is revealed for what it was all along: the powers that be keeping a profitable business going. The Church needs a bailout in the form of a good plucking and jail time. No rocket-science required to see what's in front of your face, but those with blind faith cling, regardless. Makes me both furious and sad.
