I don't know why I am suddenly thinking of.....
something Thomas Paine observed over two centuries ago:

“To argue with a man who has renounced the use and authority of reason, is like administering medicine to the dead.”


In 21 words, Paine perfectly summed up the frustration faced by a conservative every time he attempts to debate an issue with a liberal.

Actually, I think we'll see.
Actually I don't believe the Democrats have gone far enough to offset the damage Big Business has done.  Conservative agenda rules both parties.  Conservative disregard for the health of people and the planet seems to dominate legislatoin and presidential decrees.

The vote should be for those with real consideration for all of us -- third parties in the progressive sphere   If enough people vote for these parties in the primaries, maybe the Democratic Party will wake up to where public sentiment really is -- not where Big Oil backed activists make it seem like it is.
