Sounds interesting. I am listening to a 50 cd series on the History of
World Literature and it begins with Gilgamesh, have you read it?? The interpretation of Gilgamesh, and following that, the Hebrew Bible, pretty much sets the scene for today's beliefs. They got into Greek and Roman beginning lit and Sumerian and all middle eastern writing and we have all that in our books. Wonderful series. the Illiad and the Odyssey, the copy but different story by Virgil, etc. It is all a soup from the beginnings of time, changing and mixing, getting bigger or smaller depending upon the society and its current beliefs..........the original Neverending Story.
