I am in that position, as I am grieving over 2 different ones in my life I pray for that have some serious problems now. I also understand depression. It can be very debilitating.

Well Justi depression is awful and a friend just feels so helpless, so she is writing her pain in this poem and to whom can she reach out for help, I guess she feels faith is the only thing left. Perhaps she could encourage her friend to seek help it is a job to shake this off on one's own. Only my opinion.
