You are so right, this is a seed planted by one being used by Satan. You have touched off a current that resonates in a negative manner for him. He does not like our children to have good manners, be strong and respect boundaries. But they need them and the Lord requires them. Refresh your reading of Proverbs. There is too much permissive behavior today. If one cries it does not always mean there is something wrong. You just plea the blood of Jesus over your mind and clear that out. No the other woman does not need to keep the child. How does one get revolving sitter sanctions anyway?
