My thoughts exactly. When I would visit the nursing home with my church, I would give out foot massages and the people would talk to me...so many of them were flat-out riots! I can't wait to see who my new 'family' member or members is going to be. I just want to get assigned so that we can get down to adjusting and getting used to one another. I was never good at being the 'new' kid on the block. I like to be established. The intrinsic rewards will be more than worth the income.

Elyse!
You are SOOOO adopted into our family, Sister! I know we're kindred spirits, that's for sure. I believe I will love this. I don't think anything could be harder than what we did while we were doing the housecleaning business, but I might just be surprised, there. There's that whole personal care thing that I get to learn, now. When writing down my skills, the interviewer had me mark 'proficient' on just about everything, simply because I used to run a daycare in my home....I had to laugh. Jordan is doing GREAT today. He just came home from school and is zombieing out on tv....but not a bad zombie, like concussion zombie...just the 'usual' zombie.

Darson
I sort off went 'whew' after reading this! First of all, I'm really glad that everything is okay with Jordan - concussions can be a bitch, I had one on New Year's Day, of all days, but I'm alright now. And all the other stuff - you certainly have your hands full and then some - but on the plus side, I think working with seniors could be intrinsically very rewarding, quite aside from the money...

Oh Darlin' Darson --- so you're entering into home healthcare --- and I will continue praying for you now.  It's a difficult task but it's doable - I did this line of work just recently for a while, and I enjoyed it however, I have a tendency to really fall in love with the people I helped - and I took on more than I should have.  Now, I worked for a state agency and the pay was not that good - I worked my fingers to the bones sometimes and overtime and I wasn't compensated for that as far as pay, more - I felt rewarded by the whole idea that I was there when noone could be and I thanked God especially for those times.  God bless you more Darson - and I am so happy that your boy was not seriously injured, and that in itself sounds like a miracle.  You are dear to my heart.  Elyse
