God, I hope he gets sorted out.  It is chilling to read in your post that there might not be a 'we.'  We are somewhat similar with medications and absolutely must take them daily and in Ell's case she must take 8 all at once; mine are 4 per day.  It is so easy to think "I don't need those!"  All the best.

Here in Tucson we have the St. Elizabeth of Hungary clinic for people
like me, those with little to no income. You go, qualify at different levels, I am usually near the FREE level and they have some medications that are donated by the manufacturers for their patients. My medication happens to be one of them.

Everyone is America is poor now, walking in my old shoes, and so, it is harder to get an appointment with them. So far, no luck. They have open hours. so I must just go sit and read and wait, I think.

We also have a community clinic started in our city's hippy days, which opened on the South side of town for poor Mexican families first, but which has mucho funding now and is not as kind as before, but I did qualify before. An outstanding bill to them, keeps me away from there.

I say all this to ask whether your city has things like this, it can't be only America which cares for those who cannot care for themselves.

You do have to bury pride in a dark bag in the back garden for digging up later.

Praying as usual and continually for us all.

it is so refreshing to read HONESTY, that it draws people like a magnet
I can give you advise along with everybody else, but I feel that advise is the last thing you need right now, because you are on a personal journey of discovery. I have been on food stamps, I have been on the street without a quarter to make a phone call, and I have made tons of money, in the end it is a journey and believe it or not you are in control of your finances. But what you have, which is the ability to take a good look at yourself, that is hard to find and harder to do.

You are so precious - so full of love for your family and hurting - I pray this all goes by quickly but, in reality - there's a bit to restore.  I hope it does soon.  I will be following ~ and supporting you in thought and heart.  Elyse

I feel for you both. I agree with you about money - it comes, it goes - but I also find it really worrying if I can't see my way to paying the bills. Hope all works out for you both.
