Interesting. As you know, I do like cooking, but for some reason bay leaves are not among the spices I use or even think about. But I'm gonna change that!

And it's a good thing I can process acetaldehyde well, so I'm gonna have another scotch...

I love herbs and spices.  I'm afraid I probably even overdo it.  I'm so glad that son keeps up an herb garden and shares it all with me.  One thing he does not grow is bay leaves.  He is always asking me if I have any new ideas for his herb garden.  I will have to remember to suggest that.

Just thought I'd glance at my favorites list before going off for a few days, and am so delighted to see this--thanks very much! We use bayleaf a lot! Will catch up when I'm back over the weekend. Do continue to pray for Ashish. Nita.

Those round Bay leaves are used all the time in Greek cooking to but
of course...Greek and Turkey more alike than they will admit.
