If only it was true, Guy
Especially the part about the hot Latin girlfriend. Sigh...the sad truth is that I've been holed up watching old movies on cable while nursing a bout with the flu and a series of colds. At least that's my story and I'm sticking to it until video to the contrary surfaces.

Hi, Sam
Thanks for stopping by. It seems I can always count on you to find anything I post -- an attribute for which I am most grateful. I've just spent some time catching up with several of your blogs...even left a comment on one. I'm with you about signing Verlander. I just don't understand why the Tigers were so willing to give up Jackson, much less Granderson and Polanco. I'd like to think they know what they are doing, but the moves and results over the past two seasons have not been encouraging.

Thank you, _Symphony_
I've just caught up with the story of your own return to Blogit...and I'm deeply impressed. You have earned a place on my list of heroes. Keep on keeping on.

Where HAS Notapoet REALLY been, for five weeks?
Nonpoetic one,
I have it on good authority, that he only said that he was going hiking the Adirondac mountains. He really has a HOT Latin girlfriend in Argentina! Let's not tell his wife though. She'd probably dump him!

Well that's comforting to know! lol Why so modest? Just teasing! Nice to catch up with you again! The Detroit sports teams are having a very rough year! But it was good to see that Detroit was pursuing Verlander for the long haul! sam
