"harbinger of delights" ~ what a beginning metaphorical phrase - So many delightful images and analogies - just prolific inspiration is what I take with me after reading this poem of yours.  Aba, you are truly steeping your pen in the honeyed ink of a sage bard here.  I would love to borrow your muse for even just an hour. Ely (catching up on your posts as I have been out of town for week or so)

Oh cum'on miss Darson
I am a hands down, you sure know what I mean, inveterate fan of your exquisite writings, I can not be half as vociferously voluble as you are with your twists of humor, but I also love to bask in the warmth of your praise. You egg me on to do better and better. Thank you ever so much, my dear friend. I am happy you  my yet-to-mature poetic credentials .

PoetRaye
Someone of your stature, a most accomplished poetess, says "profound" to my newly acquired love in poetic venture, means a lot lot to me. Thank you Raye for filling my comments page with a starry fragrance.

All I now have is an inkling that comes beckoning

Again and again in my ears, but like everything

Else, occasions too have to await their sugary turn to ripen

Before wisdom, you goal of all knowledge, come to enlighten

This summed it up for me and I echo not so soon, not so soon with you! Excellent! Totally wonderfully scripted! It followed it from the onset and backed it up with striking imagery! sam
