Free Counter
If I was looking for a counter, I would go to Bravenet. Their counters are free.
The problem is I couldn't get my counter to work in the Blog description.
But, you have given me hope. I will try again.

Blog counters
You can also create a counter by going to
http://www.counter.com. Unfortunately it costs $5/mo, which I think is a rip-off. But they do have more powerful counters for Web sites that cost more, but are worth a bit more.
