My son had a strange assumption, that you might enjoy hearing about.

When Paul (circa 1978, to date) was very young, he would watch many of my favorite old black & white movie classics with me, from the comfort and security of my lap. He knew that there was something.....a little different about those old movies, just like his cartoons were different, from what all the old people watch on TV nowadays. I told him that the movie we were watching right then, was from the old days, "back before you were born," when they couldn't make color movies.
He will probably forever afterward, feel that the whole world ''owes him" because humanity has never properly thanked and recompensed him, for bringing color into everyone's lives. He also thinks that the government is watching him from satelites, trying to catch him driving again.
