Re: I am NOT religious nor am I for religion- or religious leaders.
there are indeed great precepts in the Bible.  But, as I noted, much that is written about events long past are tales and stories taken from oral tradition, and full of inaccuracies.

The precepts stand out above the stories.

As I tried to say, though, the writers worked with what they had at their disposal.  They could only see, perceive, so much.  As Science discovered more, then these earlier perceptions should have been recognized for what they really are -- conclusions drawn from incomplete information and data.  As information and data become more complete (yet infinitely incomplete), a larger view of the Universe and the world around comes into focus.

It is this larger world that we ought to embrace as God, not the narrow view of people ages ago with little at their disposal to work with.

I am NOT religious nor am I for religion- or religious leaders.
but when it comes to the bible you dont have a clue what  you are talking about. the limitless and vast knowledge found when studies of the bible are put into the computer are amazing, and limitless . you should first undrstand the things you mock. As for God,  God IS Science,
