I am just reading this for the first time.  I'm interested --- it's keenly written with a perspective that is witty and full of imagination --- perils of rural living can be unawares to some ... (we have a goat next door to our pasture and I love to visit with it, but glad it's theirs---especially when it butts at the doggies I have- Elyse
