Huh....! I don't know! It's like we pull out all the stops, there at the end, with one last big Hoo-Ha. And then we're ready for January and white snow and less color and just some....plain...for a while. I know that's what I'm up for...calm, and white, and plain. Yeah. Till February, that is, and then it's all red and pink and....and....and...!

Yes, I believe that, too. I appreciate being able to journal about it, because then I can review the steps that have been taken, and the 'tender mercies' that have come along the way. I am loving the direction God is leading me. But it's not always easy. Would be easier if I didn't resist so darn much....!

Elyse!
Ugggh. I understand about the ceiling fans...have cleaned many of those, in my day! I know, and why are there always people around when things get moved and they get to see your worst stuff, like bugs and that? It's one of those Murphy's law things, I'm sure. Beware, Elyse....whenever I get close to someone, we start parallelling, for whatever reason. My friend Monika and I can go for months without talking, and then when we do, we are always amazed that we're going through identical things....and she's in FINLAND! So, it could happen to you...cause we're close! You're a sister, that's what. That's just all there is to it.

Thank you and I can always use more prayers in my direction. I will do the same with your efforts to help the world in your own pre-destined corner.

Thank you! It has been such a....refuge...? to be able to write in my prayer journal. I've been getting up early each morning when the house is silent to do this. It's changed my days, I can honestly say. And cleanin'...? It's what I do.!

Great post.  Yesterday, I finally got all the Christmas stuff down and put away.  It was like I found my house again.  I couldn't believe how much Christmas stuff was everywhere, in every room.  Why are we so decoration prone at the end of the year?

I feel you are being carefully guided to that place in life where you should be. See, the God I know can make it happen, an office can become an office and a bedroom a bedroom and man can be educated about love.†

God bless you my sweet Darson ~ I got tears reading this.  I do that - what you say, many a time...I write best in the morning - visiting God and what he brings for the day.  and if I don't do this I tell ya', I'm a bear.  the alter ego "Claudia" comes out (what my kids deemed it years ago...it was a funny joke but now, it isn't LOL) and I know what you mean about feeling excluded.  I worked for Dman for years - and when I quit, it was so foreign to me and I went through a period of feeling left out...but I've gotten old with it and so has he ~ but it does take time to readjust.  I think you're doing a wonderful thing moving the desk and all.   and the cobwebs...I was just ridding corners of that mess today.  I was embarrassed when one of the painters found this huge mayfly stuck in a web - and he was like "ohhh...ahhhh..." and I was  --- LOL, so yes, I've been doing this; must have been telepathy or something.  and I'm considering taking down ceiling fans because of the dust they accumulate and that they fling when they're dusty.  OY!!! It's a lot of work I tell ya'.  xoxox Elyse

It is neat when God wakes us to share in our lives.
Darson, I will certainly pray for you and your daily struggles. Thank you for visiting my blog, You asked a question. I preached at the church on Sunday and should have been more clear. I was back in my office at the church, where I pastor. It is my only vocation besides my blogging and other internet endeavors. Again I will be praying with you! Keep Looking Up! Dan

Darson, sometimes those little changes God wants us to make are

so subtle, we miss them if our minds are preoccupied (been there, done that..:)...we keep waiting for the lightning flash and the thunder to rumble...

good thoughts on "space" we all need to remember, especially yours truly....
