A great poem!  I have found that negative patterns should not be travelled again when they are known, leave that road behind.  Not always sure which one to take though, maybe that is where faith comes in..

Beautiful poem!
Thank you so much for sharing these wise thoughts, that you expressed so simply and so concisely.

This is beautiful; and I love the picture you've put with it, also.

Re: Re: janey
Oh, thank you janey, must tell you I'm not in any way an accomplished poet, writing prose is what I have done all the while. This is only a very recent venture, though I have critiqued on poets and their poetries. But that you think so, err ... I'll not mind  .

Re: janey
I consider this an incredible  compliment from such an accomplished poet as yourself  - Thank you for encouraging me on - I wouldn't mind constructive criticism, too.

Not sure why but my comments are messed up - don't know who left the last comment but I  would love to know what song you are speaking of!

I love that song... Those ever changing pathways make life more exciting while sometimes the patterns can mess up everything. I ask many of these questions myself Janey.

Thank you Kabu - not sure about the "great writing" but I love words - simple words.  My personal road has been full of fun and adventure - peppered with hard times which make the good times sweeter - right!
