Hi Kabu! First of all thank you for the great compliment. We don't have scales over our eyes, but we all do wear blinders. Some people wear tighter blinders than others, but we all wear them. Our blinders are influenced by our up bringing, education, religion, and other people. These blinders affect how we view situations; sometimes we can see we were at fault, sometimes not. As for how can we self analyze, the main problem is many of us judge ourself too harshly. Realize that you are human and will make mistakes. When you recognize a mistake admit it and try not to repeat it. Don't beat yourself up over it. Merry Christmas Kabu!

Hi sam! Honesty is a lot like love, you have to be honest with yourself before you can be honest with others. It is not easy to do, it takes humility and a desire to grow, because the only way we learn is through our mistakes. If we never admit to making them, we can't learn from them. Merry Christmas sam!

Do we sometimes have scales over our eyes so that we don't understand the part we played in a situation. How can we self analyse properly, fairly, honestly. Questions I have for your expert evaluation and help.

I so agree, an assessment on a regular basis is critical to personal growth! It is difficult for we have to face our demons as it were! It is not easy, for it almost always accompanies a change, and people fail miserably at times when they need to change themselves first! I know I struggle! sam
