I agree, it is his war now. For the sake of our soldiers I pray they all know what they are doing! If I have to endue a Vietnam I might go mad. Too many young people died. sam

Your pain is felt by all who understand your anguish, but oppose this military insanity. This can no longer be considered a Bush mess. Nixon never pointed to Johnson or Kennedy for fault in Vietnam. He staked his presidency on the insanity of war and mayhem. This is now Obama's war. He is headed down this path on his own free will, no longer can he point the finger at previous administrations. That is obviously his burden. His attempt to justify opposition to the invasion Iraq by escalating the injustice in Afghanistan only confirms his cowardice.

There was no easy answer! There will be no easy way to end it. It is difficult to come behind someone else, and make decisions that appease all. I don't know what he can do with all the things that are falling apart globally! I think it is a matter of being handcuffed, but I don't know! My son will be heading out soon, I wish it could have gone differently. sam
