I chucke with great delight when you, the poetess of great ardor praise me so, being as I am, yet a novice yet you encourage by saying "it bears much depth and is a true experience to all whom want to read/write poetry. You indeed are gracious-hearted, ma'am ~ ~ Aba.

Sir, in my opinion you write better than me, no matter how much I may learn about the secrets of poetry and bring them to you. But I think I have discovered my new found love.

Ending with an envoy, a natural sealing. Love those words of your's. I am sure that for someone like you to whom we all look up to as a great poetess, you will show us the style of ballad songs with your poetry, soon. Your poetic hat-tipping is a treasure, honor, for me.

I am at times surprised that accomplished poets have such kind words for me. Am so glad that you could find the reason for loving ballads. The appeal is enhanced when one understands the intricacies that go into but outwardly seems effortless.

By these words Rain, it's a vice versa effect in mutual inspiration. So, many thanks.

The thought just struck me while I was rummaging through my drawer trying to find something to write and I am happy the results turned out so good on their own.

You explain poetry beautifully. I write some but have never studied all the different forms of it.

I love to read ballads but have never gotten into to writing them. I think it has a lot to do with the meter, I love it when I don't have to check the stresses with each word I write! I have never been one to rhyme unless it comes naturally or I am doing a specific piece! However,  this was explained rather well, very apropos examples, too! I do like that they end with an envoy, kind of a natural sealing to a poem. That happens in sestinas, too! I tip my poetic hat once again, mainly for the explanation but also knowledge base and awareness to the reader that poetry is complicated and always requires a great deal of study! I know, I study it everyday! Have a great evening! sam
