Sometimes people are too caught up in theirselves and their worries that they never stop to live in the moment and be grateful for their lives at this very moment. Even when things are going bad people tend to either dwell on the past or think to far on the future and never stop to appreciate what they have. People do fall and then God is there to pick you up, but often instead of praying, it's more like begging because they know they haven't took time to appreciate the Lord and everything he's given us.
