Taps
Go, Taps, Go! In the rental houses my company used to clean, we were required to move both the stove and the fridge and clean behind them. I must say, I've always wished my own home could be as clean as we left all of those rentals. Loved the feeling of knowing that whatever appliance got moved, there wouldn't be anything back there. It made me feel more....honest?...or something. A great exercise!

This one got me because I need to do some cleaning on/in my refrigerator and on/in my kitchens stove and then the floor.  What I really need to do is pull that refrigerator out and clean behind it.  I'm writing myself a note for morning.

Elyse!
We just got back from the Winter Garden Aglow and it was Heaven. The kids' singing was beautiful; I had two cookies and two hot chocolates, and, since Husband and I got there early by accident, we hiked way up the hill beyond the lights to get a bird's eye view of the lit up botanical garden, and the city below. It was amazing. We even bought a silver acorn ornament at the gift shop for this year's couple's ornament; a tradition since the year we met. A very, very nice time. NOW I'm ready to do the whole Holiday thing...just in a sane way. Hugs to you, my friend! Oh, and PS Congrats on the upcoming nuptuals. I'm sure they're a lovely couple!

FSI
Yep; not too much nuttiness going on around here...at least, not from me. Those around me I cannot control, however!

Good for you Darson, contemplating on the matters that matter most - You're on top of it all - and I'm so tickled about the family venture this evening...that's True Love there - awww - this just makes my tongue burn from the sweetness (like hot chocolate) LOL ~ I'm teasing - It makes me just smile really big and feel very very peaceful  I used to listen a great deal of Dobson on Focus on the Family - you're reminding me of the importance of just simply pulling away from the hoopla and such and focusing on 'family' - that's our inheritance, our legend in this life.  We were able to go to dinner tonight with my daughter and future son in law.  It was so pleasant to have this time - even among the crowds, where some looked so stressed - I don't want that...I, like you, want the peace, the laughter, the joy and just Love.  Elyse

I find myself getting wound up this time of year as well. Best to enjoy the moment. You're right about that.
