Never having been in your position I cannot give you any advice. However congratulations! I'm sure there will be lots of people there and that they'll buy your book.

I have not been keeping up with all your posts, but I do enjoy them when I have time to read. I checked out your book on Amazon. It looks like it is very good.

Good for you.
Vogue, just relax and enjoy the moment. I think you'll have a fantastic time. I'm interested in reading your book. 'Sweet Revenge', hmmm, sounds like a Hitchcock thriller. We are all proud - if not envious - of you. Go for it girl.

Just got on line and saw this... Congratulations!!!!  There is nothing you "have" to do for a book signing except look fabuloous and bring a few pens... You might want to pick a passage of your book you would like to read in case you are asked to and also prepare a few words in case they want you to speak.  I have seen it all in book signings from wine toasting in plush coaches to just listening to long boring speaches sitting on folding chairs but most of the ones I have been to were just a few anxious people waiting for the author  to dedicate the books they have just purchased.  Since this is a party in your honor probably there will be some refreshments and it would be nice for you to say something but its your call :-)  If no one comes... their loss :-) so no tears and just think how fortunate you are to have such nice neighbors that want to honor you in that way.  Unfortunately that Friday is the first night of Hanukah and I have the whole family coming to me for dinner and present giving... I am really upset I can not come but I will be there in spirit cheering you on. Take care of you xoxoxo

I could never get onto that trazzler as they kept wanting 'facebook' sign in and I won't do facebook...spaceworld or any of those - but know that I did pick you personally as a winner -  ~ and I'm too excited, how thrilling - that is a beautiful and elegant flyer - wow - just let it flow from your heart (okay make a few notes) but enjoy this honor  Elyse (I was notified yesterday by LuLu that my book has been sent - YAY!!~ )

Good luck with it all! As for trazzler: oh, well, it's not your fault if they did it this way...And it gave me the idea of writing more articles, which is good!

Now then we know it will be lotsof fun and of course crowded out.
what happens I don't know bur I would think that talking to everyone and signing and yes a little speech and smiling a lot and knowing that we are all cheering you on and holding your hand and kissing your cheek will fill you with courage and you will sellheaps of books and if you were closer....I would be there. xoxoxoxoxox

Signing up for trazzler is a minor effort (btw, I like the site!) if it helps a friend! Congratulations and all the best for the signing party--great flyer!

First of all, they're impressed to be involved with an author book-signing
and they'll want to know where you get your inspiration. So be ready to talk about where the ideas came from. And you could say something like what you just told us, how thrilled you are they actually took time to celebrate with you.  If there will be copies for sale, it might be nice to have someone else take the money so you can focus on them as you chat and sign. Have fun. You worked for this.

The flyer looks great
Not that I've had a book signing party yet but the book signings I've been to, it seems to work well if someone else handles book sales and leaves the signing, talking to you.And perhaps that person should have a small sign stating the price so that people are in no doubt

that the books are not free.  A short reading could be good,.Main thing is to have fun.

Great Flyer!
I have a feeling you won't be in tears.
I'm picturing that big flashing smile of yours.
