I believe if she contacts the bank's fraud division they might honor replace the funds.
She would have to make a police report immediately, even if she only kinda knows whotook the money. I would encourage her to make the report and call AND WRITE a letter to the bank.

People can and often DO, just stomp on your heart, for reasons known only to themselves, or just to be mean. These sociopaths couldn't possibly care less about the harm tha they do to others! These humans should rightly be described as being "inhuman" but that slanders and insults all non-human life. Only our own species is capable of being inhuman. The other animals are innocent, or at their worst, they still have done nothing to be ashamed of having done. We humans are the only animals who feel shame and guilt, cry, or ask for forgiveness. Only we humans deserve to feel these things!

This is such a sad sad story. That's why all surggery carries danger and I
feel so bad for this lady. I wonder if the Dr. was discussing his stocks and bonds while he knicked that spleen.....no please don't quote me.
But the daughter should be hung drawn and quartered or at least have her own slpeen removed. Unbelievable disgusting revolting and unatural behavious.
