What a beautiful and interesting post.  I'm a day late reading it, but it was well worth the catch up.

Elinjo

It must have been a very interesting experience, even if it only lasted for a year. And I am really looking forward to excerpts from your daughter's diary!

The video with the choral music and the collection of pictures of the Madonna is delightful...

Who are the little girls in the video?  Even though I'm Jewish, I love the Christmas carols and music around this time of year (not to mention the great lights)....Mal

Since I was a secondary educator i.e. high school, I am most interested! Shelly

Only bi-lingual, because all her efforts went into to polishing up her English, and we were only there for a year.

Re: Vogue
You sound as though you have led a very, very interesting life right from the word go. How about an autobiography?

By all means, let's have experts from your daughter's diary. I would be interested in how she felt in that school, given that I was shipped off to several boarding schools in the UK and Switzerland and have been to universities in Switzerland, Germany, the UkKand Spain. See, my restless nature had a very early origin.

To become tri lingual what a wonderful gift you gave your daughter.

How wonderful --- I do like to read your blog ~ adds such beauty and peace to my day.  What a lovely thought to digitalize the journal.  That's love from a mother's heart and it will pass on in legacy.  I just get such a good feeling when I leave your blog ~ Elyse (certainly, I'm more enriched)

Somehow the world seems smaller, cozier, when we see
glimpses of it from a congenial and interesting Blogit neighbor. Thanks so much for sharing it with us.

I think it is a wonderful thing to digitalize your daughter's journal so that your grandchildren can have an insight into her childhood. Sometimes when you sit & reminisce, you realise how time has flown and pathways that life has taken - unbelievable at times. Thanks for sharing the video Betty and I hope you are doing fine.
