My daughter wanted to be at Wal.mart at 4:30, but I told her I wasn't going to. We actually did go there last year at 5:00 and got a really good printer scanner. This year it was 10:00 and I left the store without buying anything. It might be a good time to get good sales, but not without some sacrifice (sleep)

I have never been shopping on the day after Thanksgiving, and don't intend to start at this late date in my life.  But, I know some people who think it is fun and wouldn't miss it for anything.

I hope you got your beauty rest! lol I can't get into the Black Friday thing! I tried to make a purchase over the phone this morning but they would not let me! BOOHOO! I would have run on this one but I can't drive due to seizures! So it is a black Friday for me, but in a different mode! sam

No mas, not for me ~ I agree with the crowd that enjoys 'homeward bound' rest - while the others choose to swim with the sharks --- or against them, I tell you I have no desire to be in that throng today --- Kudos and enjoy your day of 'rest' ~ Elyse *wondering if there's a reason why they call it 'black' friday? as opposed to 'good' friday?

One of the blessings of the modern world is that you can shop on-line and never get harassed by over-eager shoppers.

Not for me, either!!! I got run over by an overly zealous shopper once. She mowed me over with her shopping cart on a 50% off sale. Didn't even see me. That's one side of humanity I don't need to witness again. I think I'll take my kids out for an ice cream instead.
