fantasy is nice
imagination is a good thing to have
Santa is an interesting issue.
some kids grow up without Santa -- not just most of the kids in the world, but many Christians -- the kids don't seem to be any worse for it.
kids like Santa because of the idea of getting gifts -- he fulfills wishes. people like that.
kids get over it eventually.
but a kid without Santa isn't deprived.
and regarding the 12 - yr old
I think the truth is in order.
