Thanks Inka, I check it out. It is always good to read various writer's prose, including yours.

It looks as though it would be very entertaining.

Attractively funny-looking all right, and must be with the Bahamas bohemian lifestyles, too.

Vogue
Yep, it does look funny! But judging by its illustrations, the only topic appears to be food, the others being planned for the next volume...

Yep - you definitely have to go back and check out more of Puerto Rico! As you can see, I've been reading back over your posts. Fascinating! Gonna check out this book.

Really looks like a funny book. But let me ask you, very seriously, of course: Do they really look like that?

I vacationed in Bimini (Bahamas) every year - my Grandpa was known on the Island as "Uncle Sam" and spent at least 2 months of every year (from 1945 on) fishing with the locals there.  Grandma was a big fan of conch fritters and Bimini Bread.  Your post brought back memories.....Mal

LOL, I love this pic for sure and yes, if I want to ever know how to be a Bahamian, I will certainly look up this book.  It reminds me of the Jamaica trip we made one time and how everyone it seems on flight back had those bo derek braids?  LOL, I thought oy! I must have not been jamaicanized enough. Love this Vogue ~ Elyse
