As was said, we celebrate Thanksgiving on the last Thursday of the month which this year falls on the 26th. Your pic is wonderful and I too had the priviledge of seeing a replica of the Mayflower which made a very tough and tragic journey.

Fantastic photo....yes how the ancestors crossed the oceans in those
flimsy ships and with no comforts or guarantee of getting there. such brave souls is the New World built on.

I saw a Mayflower replica
in Plymouth when we visited a few years ago. For such a flimsy vessel to make it across the Altlantic is, in itself, cause for Thanksgiving alone I'd say.
