I agree completely! In fact, ours may well be a society defined (among other definitions) as the Society of Waste...I don't think there has been anything comparable in history...

I agree with you totally. I get the pop cans out of the trash (with gloves and wash them off). In Oregon they are worth 5 cents each. It adds up after awhile.

I also feel like this, when I see what people dump.
The only difference is that here in India in many places we have rag-pickers, who won't let the thing go completely waste, specially where it is a non-perishable.

I saw lots of waste paper and cans in the hedgerows today. Spoiled people spoil our landscape don't they?
