*sigh* This was so pretty.  My grandmother passed away from Alzheimer's under our care and I was devasted for a long time, she was the reason I began to write, and the reason I decided to share all my emotions with the world.  I was quiet for a long time then I decided it was finally time to show and tell.  Thank you for sharing.

Skye,

Thank you for sharing this beautiful poetry and memories of Richard with us.  My Nana, who also had Alzheimer's Disease, was my Great-Grandpa's rose.  His favourites were yellow.

A rose for you...

Roses are definitely my favourite flowers Roses how beautiful
these words are. I cried. I read it again and cried somemore. Your Richard sick unto death was a beautiful soul just like my Wiley is. Bless you dear one for you are a beautiful soul too who deserves peace and may you find the peace you seek with your roses.

Roses are so very special, I think it is good to be obsessed with them.
