I've just caught up on this one. So even though you are now home again, better late than never, all my sympathies. She sounds weird. Lucky you were able to get yourself another cabin...

Forget her now. Sounds like she has issues. Enjoy what's left of cruise

I've learnt from experience that it's best to travel on your own, as it's difficult to find like minded companions! Put this down to an enriching learning experience, and safe journey back!

In college I know many a person made miserable by a roommate. This brings back those memories.

Your own space.
Inka, glad to hear you at least, got your own space. As for the roomie....... next time you see her on deck and she's looking over th side at the blue water passing beneath, ask her if she can swim. Her response will be something like, "Of course I can swim, do you think I'm some sort of idiot?" Smile, then push her. lol. Not long now and you'll be back on dry land and in your own home.

I am with Naut in that I could never get an unknown roomie :-)   but I hope you are not going to make this cruise sond wonderful in your articles... You should tell it as it is so taht people do not suffer what you have... that is the only way that others will follow you and you will get famous :-)  if they know that when you say it,  it is true  Be well my friend and take heart that in a couple of days you will be home  xoxoxo

Vogue
Just catching up with you - I haven't been around much on Blogit. Sorry to hear about your troubles at sea, as it were, even though the sea didn't have much to do with it, lol. But your tale confirms a conviction I've had for a long time - never share your bedroom with anyone but your lover...

After catching up on your bits and pieces in your posts, it sounds like the cruise from hell.  But being the good travel writer that you are, you can make it sound so wonderful that all of your readers will want to go to those places.

Oh dear Vogue ~   ~~~~ enjoy your solitude --- your peace and don't feel as if you're isolated - enjoy your relaxation and 'privacy' ~ This woman is just plainly not very nice but, you can't change her.  You're so precious to remember us with promise of pics.  I truly can't wait to see them but, meanwhile, treat yourself to some fun --- whatever it may be.  I have never been on a cruise, nor will probably never as I have a Phobia of ships - (flights are bad enough LOL) but, there has to be some forms of entertainment to keep your mind entertained --- just know we are here --- LOVING You ~ Elyse

That's it if you can't share with someone very close to you then you have
taught me not to go. This needs to be explained in one of your travel guides because some people are just too intoerant to share with others. What a B%$CH  she turned into. Perfume in the morning?????? Why I bathe in my perfume, especially when I bought it duty free. (Actually I don't but y; know) I feel so sorry for you

I've had some trips like that. Best trips I've ever taken were solo...you don't have to wait for anyone, you can take your time taking pictures till the cows come home, and you can do whatever you like! Nothing wrong with that! I hope you enjoy the rest of your time. If you were in my cabin you could spray your perfume anywhere and I wouldn't mind a bit! I love any type of fragrance, I'm sure yours is lovely and she's just being sort of a pill. Glad you got a cabin all to yourself; nice move! Have a nice rest of the time for us, who are living vicariously through you on this trip! Go buy yourself something pretty!

I am so sorry this has happened to you. People are getting more and more hurtful. The world is becoming a meaner place to maneuver. Be careful.
