Wow, I'm so very intrigued, also because coincidentally, the other day Kabu too mentioned something quite similar that I reminded her of someone who used to be here and is now no longer, having deleted his blog. How very wonderful it would have been if I could read his thoughts to enrich myself. I love to provoke and make one ponder; that you do is my greatest delight. And you have been so supporive of me all through. Your blessings are my treasures to pick & preserve. Thank you so so so very much, ma'am. ya ~ Aba.

That is why not all reach. But the fact that even one has, makes it a possibility for one and all to reach that goal, only if they were to have the required will. I mean the strength of it. Then it is easy.

WileyJ,
The silence of mediating on one's own, is better than the cackle of all reading, gathering and forming opinions. That's why Sir, you are a person to marvel, at least so, in my eyes.

Kabu
The exchange, desirable as it is, is rarely put into practise, each claiming mine the best, mine the best, forgetting the esence of their own scriptures, and all fragrance is lost.

You know a while back, a year or so ago, a writer was here by the name of Bhaskar ~ and I recall him writing once of this subject - of mindless eternity ~ It boggled my mind then and it sorta sinks in a bit today --- as this is one of the 'soul' I surmise. Your writings are most brilliant and leave me to ponder at times...this time I give you a big Aba, as you eloquently bring this study to (more) light and understanding.   ~ Elyse wishing you well ~

You have presented the facts so well. This state might be difficult to reach, is a goal worth striving for!

I am happy my comment helped you birth this wonderful post. I cannot debate about it because my comment came from my own silent meditations rather than from education or a formal read or understanding of  the Vedas. Seriously, I have worked meditatively often at getting out of my mind, and have discovered many things beyond the pale I have no explanation for. Thank you for your posts, they do make me think.

The Vedas are really the source of our ancient Indian wisdom.

The mind is a bundle of desires - remove the threads of attachment one by one; at the end the 'cloth' disappears and the mind is clear and pure. Sathya Sai Baba
