so what do you make of Jesus' statement, "He that lives by the sword shall die by the sword."?

Seems Jesus might have been a peacenik, eh?

May I ask how do you perceive to "apply peaceful and diplomatic means" with people who could not care less. What part do you not understand? The enemy does not want means of any kind towards peace...they want you and I dead...understand? You call it paranoia, I call it real life. Who cares about the view of the rest of the world? I do not! Why? Check on some numbers about how the U.S. has helped every nation on this planet when they have needed it. Go check that! You seem to forget that quickly. Respect from fear is much better than your obama "let's sit and talk" crap! You are dealing with people who do not care about you no matter what talks or means that may be done. Why can't you understand that? I am thankful on this day after Veteran's Day that my 85 year Marine Dad fought the Japs in 1943-1946 so that you can spew your crap!  I really am even more proud of my Dad, as he has always been my hero in life, now that I know he fought for your right as well. I am so glad that he put was MAN enough to put his life on the line to defend your right and freedoms so that you can be a liberal, ha! Pathetic!

I use an article from a trusted source, The London Times, and you seem to attribute it to me?  What's the spin job?  You have criticized Obama for failing to act in Afghanistan and now he's acting.  What's the problem?  What's the spin job?

By the way, your paranoia is showing.

And personally, yes, I have a problem with war on any level.  Wars in the past 200 years have mostly been the result of failing to apply peaceful and diplomatic means to avert them.  Nations have been like pugilistic individuals, wanting to show their muscle, wanting to prove their "manhood".  Wanting to be the dominant tribe on the planet.

Attitudes have to change.  The President's outlook is a refreshing change from that of his predecessor, who seemed to view the world as a war zone, a struggle between the forces of good and evil, with us doing no wrong (which is not the view of the rest of the world).

X man, I'll give you credit for one thing -- you are true to your beliefs. However many, many, progressives have a way of nuancing the truth, not to defend a premise, but to use it as a weapon.  Not cool. joab

One Less?

I thought you disagreed with the idea of any war at all anywhere!? Isn't that the hippie liberal way? Isn't that the democrat way, to not engage in war at any costs? Seems to me that the reason he is doing so is to defeat the forces of terrorism so that he will not have any interference in his plans to create this nation as a communist country. Get with the program Xman! Call your boy in DC and have him explain his plan to you again. Better yet just stop by your local ACORN office and I am sure they have a hotline straight to hussein "shout out" obama for further instruction.

LOL! You kill me with these incredible spin jobs dude! Go smoke another one ok?
