A lovely poem of missed opportunities and it's so tragic the tale it is based on.

I am stuck with awe and wonder, SFJoseph
This is just too fantastic, so philosophic as also spiritual, extolling one not to be too late in life and living. A song sung too late may turn into a dirge. Kudos dear sir Joseph, that's what I'll call you from now onwards.

Re: Merike
I choose to believe that the male didn't appreaciate the female, untill it was too late. He sang once, but never again.   Thanks for reading my poetry, and for the kind remarks.

A poignant tale this is. Did the female die of shock from the male 's singing? Sad or did the male sing because she was not there to nag?  Thank you for visiting my poetry! Pleasse come again!
