I am glad you understand it better than I! I think there is a hell of a lot to lose if it fails! my brother is sweating it out now trying to afford health care for his sons! Time will tell! sam

Oh, we fully understand the changes he wants to put through........he's wanting to remake America, destroying the Republic and our way of life,,,,,this is only the saving face stage for Comrade Obama.....it will be doubtful that it will every make it out of the Senate......

This seems to be a very sensitive issue for many American citizens. Living in a country (Denmark) where we take universal medical coverage for granted I find it strange that it should be so controversial in the U.S.A. We do of course pay high taxes here, but we get a lot in return, especially medical care.

At present we have got a government that has actually cut taxation and cut back on the welfare state; obviously you can't have your cake and eat it. However if a recent opinion poll is anything to go by,  the electorate is beginning to change their mind about tax cuts and is in favour of paying higher taxes again.

Amazing!
You are willing to pay higher taxes for 3 years before this plan even starts and you trust these politicians to that point? I bet a car dealer loves to see you coming.
