I love those fleeting moments too..you have captured it most excellently. When they come to mind.. is when you realize they are so precious. Lovely sweetie, have fun with the family and love you.

Every time I visit your blog, I feel I am in another world - a world of most marvelous poems expressed in classical style with a fervor unmatched, and simultaneously feel sorry that I miss so many on the way for lack of time. Another reason, I have a lot to learn from your poeies of brilliance

Nice poem, it has a "sad gaiety" about it, like the good old days..

Very nice
and so very much my reality now as I go through Richards things. I found a napkin he had written a song on when we were out to eat with his family. It was a country song that had a auction sound and he wanted to learn it so he could sing the song to his niece. Richard was an auctioneer. Fleeting memories magic moments for the heart and soul.

I like Naut. was sent off back to my memories of UNI. I smoked cigs, drank
a little cheap wine, never ever took drugs. Din't really know much about them even. Parties were mighty tame but real good fun.

Do I detect a 19th century poet here? I think I might have mentioned this before. But what a delight to re-enter the Romance of language.
