peace loving muslims ha ha ha
that is the biggest joke, and where are them peace loving muslims. So far I dont see any muslims marching for peace, so what exactly makes them peaceful?
Did you guys notice today how carefully most of the news networks avoided the fact that the murderer was a muslim? they were very detailed about all other things in his ife except the fact that he was a muslim. I do think its too late already

Thank you for this thoughtful, heartfelt post, Wiley. We'll be limping for a little while from this one. Perhaps we'll get upset enough to kick someone in the shins that needs it.

I am so glad you wrote this. I wrote too but I always get this junk from another blogger. I totally agree with Nautikos. I have studied Islam and it is not peaceful nor has any intentions of being until they have secured each and every country in the world as theirs. I am angry that the people in my country will not take a strong look at what is happening to us. Even bloggers are up to here with me, but I feel compelled to at least hope they will open their eyes.

Re: Wiley
Nautikos~Thank you and I am aware of your writings on the subject. In a very moderate way, I have learned enough over the years from short readings of the Quaran, reading some of what you wrote, living for a short time in North Africa, Algeria etc. and working in North America to service equipment owned by Muslims, that they have never entered my friendship circle. So I have understood what it's like to be treated as an infidel, and by golly before they overrun the world lots of us won't just accept their BS and lie down. They will go the way Hitler and his lot went, but go they will.

Re: It would be so much easier to wrap my head around the issue
Pat_B ~At the moment the only ones killing our troops are not Christian, they are not moderate Muslim and we can't lose that focus or that one group will take over like the Nazis did. If the Christians start acting the same way then we'll focus on them. Arms couldn't be sold if people didn't want them, and the NRA would defend everyone's a rights to own arms.

The man's absolutely correct, and many others, including myself, have said the same things in various ways...
But the only thing one ever hears from Muslims is a concern over a possible 'backlash', whenever radicals have committed another crime! I rarely hear howls of protest over the deeds of these people!
And, having studied Islam for a couple of years now (not just the Koran, but parts of the Hadith as well as works of Muslim scholars) I can tell you this: when a Muslim tells you that Islam is a religion of peace, he either doesn't understand his own religion, or leaves out an important qualification: to a devout Muslim, 'peace' means the peace of Islam, which is achieved only once the whole world is Muslim and dwells in the dar-al-Islam, the House of Islam, in complete submission to Allah...Until then, the world is divided into the present dar-al-Islam, and the dar-al-harb, the House of War...
But I have done series on this stuff, which didn't arouse much interest...

It would be so much easier to wrap my head around the issue
if all the fanaticism were on one side. We have to remember there are Christian as well as Muslim individuals and groups who want to obliterate the others. And worse -- there are those who sell war technology to both sides, so there's a profit motive to keep stirring the pot and playing up the differences.

It is something that touches absolutely everyone.
It would be good if everyone could live their life in such a way that at the ending they could sing this son:
